Dates 22 weeks 2022 - 2023 completion w/c 18th March 2024

Monday - 18th September 2023 - 1900 to 2100 hrs. Day Skipper & Watch Leader

Tuesday - 19th September 2023 - 1900 to 2100 hrs. Coastal Skipper & Yachtmaster

Fees - The Course Fee for each course is £300.00p ( 2023/2024)

Course Material You will also need to buy, at cost, the appropriate Course Pack which includes Charts, exercises, exam pack and final certification. The price for 2023 is £39.00p. DS £40.00p YM

Navigation tools and books to support the course are available, all will be discussed and explained on the first night.

Course Entry Requirements.

Day Skipper The course assumes no previous knowledge but a background in dingy sailing or other form of boating does help. This course is often oversubscribed but there is no cost involved when reserving a place. Advice book early.

Yachtmaster. The normal entry requirement is to have completed a Day Skipper Shorebased Course in recent years. Without that background people normally fail to keep up with the work required and drop out before completion. This course has been heavily revised from 2018 2022.
